Snowdrop Lace Slouch Hat
16” US 4 circular
16” US 5 circular
US 5 dpns
This hat is pretty versatile as far as the yarn with which it can be worked up. Two of my samples were worked in the yarn specified; another in Knit Picks Gloss, as well as one in Hawthorne; and another in Baah sock yarn. All were created following the same pattern, with all the same specifications, and turned out very well--and very consistent. So, if you have some sock yarn or DK lying around and you really want to use it…go ahead!
I didn’t block any of the hats I made from this pattern, because they would’ve been too large then, but if you’d like a larger hat, I recommend using a US 3 for the ribbing, US 5 for the body of the hat, and then block when finished, which will give you a slouchier hat with a more snug band.
