CONSTRUCTION:
The legs, body and head are crocheted in one piece. The arms, wings, and hair are sewn on. The skirt is removable. The wings and skirt are embroidered.
SIZE:
The doll will be approx. 15cm / 5.9 inches tall if using the indicated hook and yarn.
If you would like her to be larger or smaller, you can use a different yarn weight and adjust the hook size accordingly.
MATERIALS AND TOOLS:
- 4-Ply/Fingering or DK/light worsted weight cotton yarn in hair and skin tone of choice, green, white, rusty red and light brown (I used Scheepjes Catona in Bridal White, Hazelnut, Parrot Green and Rust)
- 2.5mm/size B-1 or C-2 crochet hook
- 3mm/size D-3 crochet hook for the skirt (optional)
- 5mm (0.2″) safety eyes
- Fiberfill
- Black, green, pale yellow, light blue and white embroidery floss
- Yarn needle
- Large-eyed sewing needle
