These socks are rustic, warm, thick socks. They do not have a close fit, but are excellent to wear as a second layer in winter, as a second layer over your normal cotton socks in your boots, when it gets really cold, or indoors as warm, cozy socks. This pattern is worked from the cuff down. The socks have a square heel and a standard, classic toe.
