Materials:
20-25 yards bedspread weight crochet cotton
Steel crochet hook, size recommended for thread
Additional supplies for stiffening and blocking
White or translucent nylon thread for hanging

Any crochet cotton may be used with a hook normally used for that weight. Size will vary depending on the thread and hook used.

Suggested bedspread weight cotton threads include American Thread Giant, Bucilla Wondersheen, Coats and Clark Knit-Cro-Sheen, South Maid, and Susan Bates Fashion-Tone with hook size 9 (1.25 mm), or DMC Cebelia #10 with hook size 10 (1.15 mm).
