Using Worsted Weight Glitter yarn wtih a G or H Sized hook, these average 7 inches from tip to tip.

I did the samples in 2 strands of #10 cotton thread and an 0 sized hook. These range in size from 3 to 4 1/2 inches from tip to tip.
