Snowflake blanket
This beautiful blanket is a beautiful play blanket for your baby. Or maybe you’ll want it for yourself?
The pattern looks complex, but it’s quite achievable with some patience. This pattern is knit in intarsia and includes a step-by-step photo tutorial. It might look a bit overwhelming, but it is not actually difficult. The only stitches are knit and purl. However, you do need a lot of patience. So if you’re the kind of person who can get lost in the meditation of a project this pattern is for you.
Difficulty:
Medium
Finished measurements:
110 x 120 cm
Gauge:
24 sts x 29 rows = 10 x 10 cm blocked.
For this pattern I highly recommend knitting a swatch. You’ll want the “pixels” of the snowflake to be as square as possible. In the suggested yarn the “pixel” needs 5 sts x 6 rows, you may have to switch it up if you’re using a different yarn.
