Snowflake Drive Shawl
The Snowflake Drive Shawl is an Advanced Beginner Level shawl that was inspired by a snowy drive in the winter covered mountains in Breckenridge Colorado. This pattern uses large chain sections combined with shells that create a delicate pattern that resembles an intricate snowflake. This shawl has a unique half circle shape, uses an easy 6 row repeat, is reversible and customizable in size.
Materials
• 2 skeins of Baby Bee Sweet Delight (4oz./ 377 yards)
• Any equivalent 2 or 3 weight yarn can be used.
• Size 4.00mm crochet hook
Measurements and Gauge
• When using the recommended yarn, the sample shawl had a
wingspan of 56 inches with a depth of 31 inches, and used
approximately 700 yards.
• Blocking is recommended with this shawl to show stitch
definition.
• 18 double crochets and 8 rows = 4 “ square
