The pattern is for a standard gauge (4.5mm) knitting machine with electronic programming and a ribber.

This is a stranded color work pattern with a repeat of 32 stitches and 31 rows. It includes 2 x 2 rib on the top and bottom. It is knit as a rectangle then seamed.

Finished dimensions are approximately 4 inches high and 20 inches in circumference.

Four colors of JC Rennie Supersoft Cashmere are used. The grams given for each color are doubled so that a swatch can be made to check gauge (33 stitches and 43 rows for a 4” square swatch in Fair Isle patterning). Approximately 25 grams total are needed for the ear warmer.
