This pattern is a colorwork design purse. The pattern does not teach stranded knitting, it provides the charted pattern.

This pattern begins with a 2 color long tail cast on, and does include a link for instructions for this cast on. There are 5 Herringbone Braids in the body of the purse, with instructions for the Herringbone Braid included in the pattern.

The strap shown is a Twisted Braid Cord, the pattern includes a link for the strap instructions.

The colorwork design is fully charted in color, with written instructions for guidance.

Page 3 of the pattern is a chart without color so you can try out different color combinations before beginning to knit. Page 3 only needs to be printed for this.

Sport Weight Yarn Wool or Wool blend / 500 yards
• 150 yards each for two main colors
