Snowflake Fingerless Mitts
Fingerless Mitts are great for giving you freedom of fingers, while still cosy. At at this time of year, a seasonal touch can never go amiss!
My husband, Nick, helped create the snowflake design. He is a collector of gems and minerals so was adamant that the symmetry be correct for the 6-sided ice crystal!
Knit these up for yourself and wear them for them next two months, knowing you’ll be wearing them year after year, to bring holiday joy to all who see them. (Not quite so obvious as a ‘Christmas jumper,’ but in the same spirit!)
You’ll need stranded and intarsia experience, but don’t worry about trying Intarsia in the round, you’ll be knitting these flat and sewing a side seam. (you can convert to knitting in the round if you prefer)
The Drops Alaska is available in a great range of colours, so if you’d prefer a different background then go for it.
You could have a couple of pairs to match different scarves!
For these Snowflake mitts, I used Purple and Pearl Grey.
These knit up big, so they feel roomy and cover the fingers well and are ideal if you like to wear fingerless mitts with thin gloves underneath
See the Christmas Tree and Reindeer options in this fingerless mitts collection too, buy two or more patterns and receive 15% discount.
