Snowflake-Flower Graphic Beanie
This is an easy beanie with a simple snowflake/flower design on top and cascading down the sides. When designing this hat I included an inset graphic, or rather a technique for inserting a graph pattern/image into a larger garment.
This technique allows a larger graph (in this case, a 17x14 graph) to be seamlessly incorporated into a larger garment without using as much space (the graph only cover 8st x 7 rows of the garment).
For this particular beanie I designed a graph that pays homage to the musical Hedwig and the Angry Inch, the graph for which is included at the end of the pattern. There is no need to insert a graphic in this simple hat, and similarly this technique can be used in any garment, especially one that is composed of hdc or dc.
