This wrap pattern features two different stitches. The focal stitch reminded me of of snowflakes, hence the name. The complimentary border stitch is the more difficult stitch of the two, but the stitches work so well together, that I think that it’s worth the little bit of extra work. The focal stitch and the border stitch are both charted, and written out line by line. There are also instructions for an optional crocheted edging, contained within the pattern.

Skill Level: Intermediate (assuming a good working knowledge of both knitting, purling, and lace knitting.)

The yarn used in the sample is made with Shalimar’s Breathless yarn, in colorway, Damask.

The wrap was expertly pattern tested by Barbara Robertson, who can be contacted at: Barb. Robertson@gmail.com, and is known on Ravelry as NanaKnits4Us.
