Snowflake Poncho
Introduction
A series of little eyelet mock cable stitches look like snowflakes falling on. So cozy and warmly fitted around your neck and shoulder, it will be your best partner on cold days.
Work in the round from the top down featuring eyelet mock cable ribbing stitches at neck. Then continue the stitch pattern only for both sides and at the same time, increase the stitches and knit the Upper Body in stockinette stitch. After splitting the round at one side of the stitch pattern, start working on the Lower Body with knit back and forth in stockinette stitch. Lastly, repeat the stitch pattern again through to hem.

Needles
US2.5 (3 mm) / 80 or 100 cm /32 or 40 inches circular needles
Knitter’s preferred style of needle may be used.

Gauge
27 sts × 39 rows = 10cm /approximately 4 inches in stockinette stitch after blocking
Make sure to achieve the gauge by adjusting needle size if necessary.

Finished shoulder circumferences above indicate the measurement at the end of the increases of the upper body. Be sure to measure around your shoulder as the horizontal circumference with arms down, when determining the best size to knit.

This poncho is intended to fit with 13-20 cm / 5-7.75 inches of positive ease at bust.

This is a recommendation only; you can choose a larger size if you like oversized fit or If you want to wear it on the coat or on the thick sweater, it is preferred to fit with more positive ease.

Mittens are intended to knit with left over yarn from Poncho, so the needle size and gauge required is the same as Snowflake Poncho.

Snowflake Poncho
小さなアイレットのケーブル模様の連なりが降り積もる雪のようなSnowflake poncho
身に付けると心地よく、寒い日に首から肩をそっと優しく温めてくれます。
ネックからトップダウンで、eyelet mock cable ribbing stitchを繰り返し編んでいき、両サイドに模様を繋げ肩に沿うように増目をしながら身頃上部をメリヤス編みで編みます。ラウンドを模様編みの一方で前後に分割した後は身頃下部をメリヤス編みで前後に編み進め、最後は裾まで再び模様編みを繰り返します。

肩周りは、身頃上部の増目の終了位置の周囲になります。サイズを決める際には肩の周りを腕を下ろした状態で水平に測定してください。

このポンチョは実際のバスト周りより、13-20cmのゆとりで設計されています。
1 (2, 3, 4) 5は実際のバスト周り 76-83 (84-91, 91-98, 99-106) 106-113 cm にフィットするように設計されているが、オーバーサイズで着用したい場合や、コートの上や厚手のセーターの上から着用したい等の場合は、大きなサイズを選択すると良い。

ミトンはポンチョの残りの糸で編むことを想定していますので、必要な針のサイズとゲージはSnowflake Ponchoと同じです。

ミトンのサイズ展開はS/M(M/L)となっており、
必要な糸量の目安は110 (115) mです。

もちろん、他のFingering weight yarnを使用していただいても構いません!
