Snowflake Tapestry Blanket
This is a Tapestry Crochet chart. It could be used for knitting or regular graphans but it will most likely come out larger than it already is. Please note that tapestry blanket is not the same texture as a traditional crocheted blanket. It comes out with the look and feel of a woven blanket. It’s much more durable this way but is not as soft and stretchy.
There are no repeated rows in this blanket. I tried to make placement of the snowflakes as random as possible (some are duplicated) to make it unique throughout the project. The following are suggestions for how to complete your project: This blanket is 35”x75” when using Caron Simply Soft and a 4mm hook.
I highly recommend NOT printing out the graph and using Acrobat on a table to keep your place. I keep a tablet on my chair and use Acrobat reader and make a “comment” which is just a drawn line to mark the row I’ve completed. I move it up each time I finish the row. Acrobat reader is a free tool. I’ve included a PDF that is 11x8.5 if you want to print it and I tried to make it a decent size but it’s multiple pages wide and long. I’ve also included a PDF that has the entire design in 1 page width for use on an electronic device.
I included some basic instructions and tips in the PDF. If you can single crochet then you can do this. It just takes patience as this particular design is over 73k stitches.
