SnowHeart
GENERAL INFORMATION
SnowHeart is a relatively close-fitting vest adorned with lavish braids at the front. The design celebrates attention to detail with the specific asymmetrical armscye “false hem” edge and textured V-shaped neckline. The knitted piece is stylish and can easily compliment business casual attire.

CONSTRUCTION
The vest is knitted in the round, bottom-up to the armholes then split into front and back, which are then finished flat. The front braiding is worked continuously while carving out the V-shaped neckline. Back is worked in stockinette stitch and then joined to the front with the 3-needles binding-off technique. The “false hem” asymmetrical armscye shaping is done by picking up-stitches around armhole and using a combination of different ribbings and short-rows technique.
The construction provides for an ease of approx. 5-10 cm / 2”-4”.
The design is intended for worsted weight yarn with good stitch definition.
INSTRUCTIONS
The pattern includes both charts and written instructions for these, as well as links to the specific techniques used, to facilitate knitting the design by all types of knitters. The front panel includes sophisticated cables, which require some attention to complete but without being too challenging.
