What’s a “showl”? It’s a cowl or a shawl, or a marriage of the two, depending on how big you make it and how you wear it!

This pattern was written to quickly make a shawl that says put or a cowl using a luscious fiber in bulky. I also felt like rocking a tassle without it being in my way, but of course that’s optional. Pattern is written for a 1-skein cowl (white sample) or a 2-skein shawl (ombre white and red/pink hand-dyed sample). A mobius twist adds to the design and wearablity. The final fit is determined by you when you graft together the ends of the last row using Kitchener stitch. Longer graft = tighter fit. Shorter graft (fewer stitches) = looser fit. If you make the 2-skein version, you can also wear it wrapped once for a shawl or perhaps twice when you want a cozy cowl.
