I loved “The Snowman” by Raymond Briggs as a child and it is still a favourite of mine today. My Amigurumi Snowman is inspired by the book; taking the idea of the tangerine nose and the green floppy hat!

This pattern is worked in the round and I use abbreviations according to US crochet language. I can provide the pattern in UK crochet language if preferred, please just contact me.

The finished snowman is approximately 4.75” (12cm) in height. This would make a lovely Christmas decoration or child’s toy.

Tools Needed:
US size E (3.5mm) crochet hook
scissors
yarn needle

Yarn Needed:
DK acrylic yarn in white, forest green, moss green and red.

Other Materials Needed:
1 pair of 7.5mm black safety eyes
Polyester/toy stuffing
orange button (approx. 15mm) for nose
2 coloured buttons (approx. 10mm) for the body
