This little snowman is ready for some winter fun! This pattern includes instructions to make the hat and scarf so you can dress him up and take him out for a snowball fight! He’s super easy to crochet and is great for beginners.

Stitches used include single crochet, half double crochet, and slip stitch. Techniques used include magic ring to start, single crochet increase, single crochet decrease, and basic sewing to put your snowman together. This pattern is worked in unjoined rounds.

Materials

Worsted weight (Size 4) yarn in white, a tiny bit of orange, and colors of choice for hat and scarf (I used Caron Simply Soft yarn) Size F crochet hook (you can also use size G to make your snowman slightly bigger) 6mm plastic eyes with safety backings (You could also sew on buttons or scraps of felt cut into circles) Stitch marker Cute buttons (optional) Small pieces of pink felt for cheeks Scissors Black and Pink thread and sharp needle Fiberfill for stuffing
