This design is very playful and a cute Holiday gift wrap over a wine or Schnapps bottle. For this design, I used small felted balls for the buttons (but small store bought pom-poms would also work and save you a step). Buttons are used for the eyes and mouth. His knit cap is worked flat and sewn up the back with a small pom-pom at the tip.

This is the newest addition in a beautiful series of decorated wine, champagne and theme liquor bottle sweaters. It makes beautiful gift wrap or decoration on the liquor shelf. Bottle sleeve is knit from worsted weight yarn, shown in Lambs Pride. This sweater is designed for 10 ¼ inch circumference bottle (standard wine bottle), but easily adjustable for taller bottles. I left bottom open so bottle sits flat and I left top of neck open for easy pouring. Also fits S.Pellegrino 750ml water bottles if knit ½ inch taller.
