Snowmitten: is he a snowman or a mitten? He’s both! A mitten wearing a cap and scarf, holding a jingle bell, he’s worked in stockinette in the round for mitten and cap, with a garter stich scarf and 1x1 ribbed cuff/brim. Small amounts of worsted weight yarn in off white or white as well as 2 or three other colors and a scrap of black for the eyes. RHSS is only a suggestion as I made this with various unlabelled leftovers.
ERRATA:
Use size 4 double pointed needles for the cap, mitten and brim. Use size 3 double pointed needles for the final rounds of the cap, mitten, and thumb. I find this makes pulling the stitches together easier but it’s NOT necessary: you can work everything with the size 4 needles. I used the size 6 needles for the scarf and knot to make a looser fabric. ETA Feel free to use this or any of my other patterns to make items to sell.
