This is a fun, textured beanie featuring seed stitch panels separated by straight, smooth columns, reminiscent of sledding hills or Black Diamond ski slopes.

This is an adult size hat, but because of the nature of the stitches, it can stretch to fit a variety of head sizes from child to adult.

Gauge is 9 stitches and 10 rows for 2x2 inches for the K2, P2 ribbed brim, and 6 stitches and 10 rows for 2x2 inches for the seed stitch panel.

Materials needed: 6.5mm (US 10.5) 16-inch circulars and DPN

The pattern can be knit with 125-150 yards of Bulky (5) yarn OR 250-300 yards of double stranded DK (3) yarn.
