Notes:

1. This pattern was written in US terms and designed for the right handed crocheter
2. This pattern is rated: EASY
3. This pattern uses basic stitches: SC, HDC, DC, front post and back post
4. This pattern contains photos to help you along
5. This pattern has only been tested with RHSS, Bernat Super Saver, CSS, and Caron 1 Pounder yarns (If you use CSS I recommend going up a hook size. If you use Caron 1 pounder I suggest going down a hook size)
6. This pattern contains 4 sizes: toddler, child, teen, adult
7. I wrote this up to make color choices easily interchangeable
8. This hat has a wider, more open style brim than most hats to accommodate wearing a ball cap under it, curly/thick hair, and even beards, however if you prefer a tighter brim there are directions for this as well
9. Chains at beginning of rows do not count in stitch count
10. Numbers in parenthesis are total number of sts you’ll make for each round
11. Gauge: 7 DC sts = 2”; 4 DC rows = 2”
12. Pictures are contained in the adult size pattern to show the best stitches
13. Wash finished product in luke-warm or cold water and tumble dry on low heat or lay out flat to dry
