This adorable little owl is the perfect size for small hands or for a decorative accent. Finished doll measure approximately 5” tall. It has a weighted pouch in the bottom to help it stand up well.

This pattern is written for advanced beginner crocheters and beyond. The advanced beginner is familiar with making amigurumi and understands basic amigurumi crochet terminology and stitches such as the single crochet, invisible decrease, increase, magic circle, continuous round, etc.; as well as how to sew pieces together, finish off, hide ends, etc. In addition, this pattern calls for stitches such as the sl st, hdc and dc.

Materials:
• Worsted Weight Yarn
• 12mm safety eyes with colored irises (color of your choice)
• Crochet Hooks: For owl: 3.25mm (D); for scarf: 3.75mm crochet hook (F) (adjust sizes according to yarn weight)
• Fiberfill
• Tapestry needle, scissors, straight pins, safety pins
• Optional: Black Sculpey Clay for talons
• Optional: White fabric, needle and white thread and filling (plastic pellets or gravel) for weighted pouch to place inside owl for stability
