As the design is quite large, you should have some experience in Double Knitting before you start working on this project. I suggest you practice Double Knitting on one of my free, smaller DK Potholders first.

The pillow cover is reversible like this: On the front you have the white owl, on the back singly knit seed stitch, the cover is closed by a flap. If you turn the cover inside out, you have a brown owl on the front and still the single seed stitch on the back.
