The Snowy Sheep Beanie is a beautiful colourwork hat, knit with worsted weight yarn in the round and is designed to have a little slouch. Featuring a double ribbed brim and stranded colour work depicting sheep coming down from the snowy hills. After simple decreases to shape the crown the beanie can be left as is or topped off with a generous sized pom pom.

Yarn A Any worsted weight wool in Charcoal/Dark Grey to obtain gauge
Yarn B Any worsted weight wool in Cream/Off White to obtain gauge

Yardage A, up to 140 m and B up to 70 m (153, 76 yards)

Needles
4.5 mm and 5.0 mm (US 7 and 8) circular needle, 60 cm (16 inch) long for circular knitting or DPNs if preferred.

Gauge 20 sts and 22 rows on 4.5 mm and 5.0 mm (US 7 and 8) needle to 10 x 10 cm (4 x 4 inches) over stockinette stitch and colour work.
