Measurements

Snowy sits 6 inches tall. Measuring Snowy sitting down, the length across from arm to arm is 4.5 inches. Snowy’s body is 2.5 inches across.

Gauge
The gauge for this pattern is a circle that measures 1 5/8 inches in diameter with a 2.75mm hook using DK weight cotton yarn. I do not recommend changing the pressure you use to crochet (don’t crochet tighter or looser) because as you continue to crochet you’ll naturally go back to the tension you’re comfortable with. Therefore, consider changing your hook to be close to what this pattern recommends.
To check the gauge for this pattern, crochet a circle with pattern in the round as follows:
Round 1: Magic Ring of 6
Round 2: 6inc (12)
Round 3: 1 sc, 1 inc repeat around (18)
Round 4: 2 sc, 1 inc repeat around (24)
Round 5: 3 sc, 1 inc repeat around (30)

Materials
Yarn:
You can work with any yarn, but the final dimensions of your unicorn may change. The suggested yarn used for this project is a light weight or DK weight. This can be Paintbox brand or another brand. The Lily Sugar ‘n Cream was only used for the scarf and can be made with another weight. However, it may not be as thick.

Yarn Colors
You can use any color yarn in any combination. Described is what the pattern uses.
Paintbox Yarns Cotton DK weight in Paper White (Approx. 53.15 yards), Orange (Nose) (Approx. 5 yards), Pure Black (Hat, Hands, Buttons) (Approx. 25.34 yards)
(Optional) Lily Sugar ’n Cream Worsted Weight for the scarf in Beach Glass color (to have contrast in weight of yarn) (Scrap yarn and not accounted for in yards)
