Snowy Tree Hat Crochet

The hat is worked in the round with a hook, bottom-up. First work a single crochet ribbing, then work split single crochet along the edge of the ribbing in rounds.
A pom is attached to the top.

YARN

Yarn Drops Nord (45% Alpaca, 30% Polyamide, 25% Wool) 1.8 oz (50 g) = approx 186 yds (170 m) or any other fingering yarn
off white (uni colour 01) – 3 skeins
lemongrass (mix 10) - 1 skein
for a Pom – 0,5 skein

2 strands of fingering yarn

MATERIALS:

Main Hook: 3.5mm (E hook), or hook to obtain gauge

Smaller size Hook: 2.5/3.00 mm for ribbing

GAUGE:

19 x 23 sts 4 x 4 inch = 19 stitches in width and 23 rows in height with split single crochet and 2 strands

NOTE: Hook size is only a guide. If you get too many stitches on 10 cm = 4”, change to a larger hook size. If you get too few stitches on 10 cm = 4”, change to a smaller hook size.
