Snubbla socks
Now is a good time for new knitting, new beginnings and beliefs!
Snubbla is a Swedish foot related verb that means to stumble. I love that there are so many verbs describing how to “go about” things and I love to give my socks all those names. So here is one more in the series, so far consisting of Run, Sneak, Jump, and Thread (Springa, Smyga, Hoppa, Trampa socks).
The Snubbla socks pattern is made for fingering weight yarn in two lightly contrasting colourways. The socks are knitted cuff down with a heel flap and a gusset, a well proofed prescription for a well fitting sock. A light ribb makes them elastic but not too tight in the cuff area. A tight gauge makes up for hard wearing and beautiful textured socks all in the same time.
