Snug is a large cozy shawl featuring bold mosaic pattens alternating with wide bands of lace. The mosaic pattern is an adaptation of the Snug mosaic pattern by Naomi Parkhurst. Knit with Wandering Wool Heights Worsted, Snug is a satisfyingly quick knit. If you want to take your time and savor the journey, Snug can also be knit in fingering, sport or DK weights. Simply add additional repeats of Chart B to make your shawl the same size as the sample. The tassels are optional, but besides being awesome, they also help hold your shawl in place. The sample shawl measures 68” across the top and 27” deep after gentle blocking.

For information on the sample yarn please visit Wandering Wool:

The sample shawl (including the tassels) used approximately 275 yards of Color A (Cranberry Bog) and 350 yds of Color B (Gray Matter). If you use the Heights Worsted you’ll need two skeins of each color. If you use a different weight yarn you will likely need additional yarn to complete a shawl the same size as the sample.
