Here in the Southern hemisphere, Easter arrives in the middle of our Autumn. Since I love to make a little something for my grandchildren every Easter, I decided to design something that would encompass chilly nights and the advent of Easter. As such, I came up with what I’m calling a Snuggle Buddy. This little bunny with its big floppy ears and paws is capable of bringing both warm hugs and fun discoveries. You can fill his cuddly middle with either a microwaveable heat pack (instructions included), or, gift it to that special little one in your life with its belly stuffed with Easter treats.

SKILL LEVEL: A working knowledge of the following is necessary
mr – magic ring
st – stitch
sts – stitches
dc – double crochet (US – single crochet)
htr – half treble (US – half double crochet)
dec – decrease by working two stitches together
inc – increase by working twice into the same stitch
rep – repeat

MATERIALS:
100% Cotton DK Yarn – 100g/250m – Pale pink & white
Eyes: 18mm black safety eyes
3.5mm hook – Head, ears, arms & legs
4mm/G-6 crochet hook - body
Pearl Barley to fill heat pack
Velcro dots or large press studs to closed back flap
Fibrefill for Head, arms and legs
