Snuggle Bundle
This pattern is worked in vertical rows and then joined half way up the cocoon using slip stitch. The bottom is then cinched shut and buttons added. The 5 single crochet at the beginning of each even row and end of each odd row create a narrower bottom for the cocoon and make it lay smoother once cinched shut. For Row 2 and each fphdc row following, the ch 2 at the beginning of the row counts as a stitch. For all other rows the turn chain does not count as a stitch. My finished product was about 19.5” tall and 9” wide. I suggest keeping loose tension to make working with this yarn smoother even if your cocoon ends up a little bigger than mine. If it is a little larger it will still work great for wrapping up a newborn! It took a little more than half a skein though so you should not need more than a skein to finish!
