Tension: 8.5 stitches by 10 rows in garter stitch - 5 cms
Circumference: 38 (44) cm unstretched

Knitted sideways, using a short stitch method to shape the crown, on 4.5mm and 5.5mm needles; an intermediate knitter should have the required skills. This hat will grow with the baby thanks to plenty of stretch and a turn-up brim.
