Lightweight but warm, the Snuggle sweater has a simple texture and minimal shaping to make the most of the yarn’s drape and softness. Each piece is worked flat from the bottom up, with stitches picked up to make the neck.

Instructions are given for six sizes:
Approx age: 1-2, 2-3, 3-4, 5-6, 7-8, 9-10
To fit chest: 20, 22, 24, 26, 28, 30” (50, 56, 60, 66, 71, 76 cm)
Finished chest: 22, 24, 26, 28, 30, 32” (56, 60, 66, 71, 76, 80 cm)

I used Stylecraft Grace Aran, a lightweight acrylic/mohair mix. If you use a different yarn please check the yardage carefully as other fibres and brands are likely to have far fewer yards per 100g.

You will also need 4.5mm and 5mm needles and a tapestry needle for seaming.
