This pattern is written in US terminology. It includes lots of pictures and has been tested by others. It’s fairly easy to follow, even for relatively new crocheters. Your snuggle monster should come out to be around 16 inches from the bottom to the top of the middle horn. If you use a nice soft yarn, it will be super soft and snuggly.

Gauge is not important in this pattern as long as your tension is consistent. Just remember that the size could change slightly depending on how you crochet.

You’ll need around 500 yards of your main color in bulky (5) weight yarn (I used Barcelona in various colors), a small amount of worsted weight yarn (I used Red Heart yarn for these, but you can use any worsted weight) in the colors white, black, and a contrasting color to your main color.

You will also need a tapestry needle, scissors, and around 12 ounces of fiberfill stuffing. The fluffier the stuffing, the better.
