Snuggle Sloth
Snuggle Sloth
A smaller cuddly version of my original Huggable Sloth, This pattern is easy to make, and put together. Both the arms and legs are made as a single piece, so there’s no worrying about lining things up when sewing them on! A detailed photo tutorial is also included for each step of embroidering the face, and needle sculpting to get just the right shape. You’ll be able to create exactly what you see in the photos - no behind the scenes proprietary secrets! Snuggle Sloth sits 12” tall, the perfect size for a bedtime buddy or travelling companion!
Take a peek at the projects tab to see the size comparison between the two.
Materials for natural coloured sloth:
-
Loops and threads Country loom in “weathered rock” - 3 balls (104 yards each) size(6) super bulky
-
Head is made with an 5 mm hook, for one I used a bulky yarn (Charisma - pink one) and the other super bulky (Country loom in Cream). Seeing the stitches is harder in the super bulky yarn, but the effect is nice. Charisma is a 109 yard ball in a (5) bulky
-
Loops and Threads country loom in “rich granite” - 1 ball (104 yards)
-
Any brand of worsted weight yarn in cream - about 10 yards (Caron one pound used for the one shown here)
