The Snuggle Up blanket pattern helps you to create a beautiful, blanket in the size and colours of your choice, to gift or keep for yourself. This pattern is suitable for confident beginner crocheters.

Featuring diamonds, zigzags and hearts motifs, this blanket is the perfect way to snuggle up with your loved ones once finished. Instructions and yarn requirements are provided enabling you to make the blanket in four different sizes: baby blanket, cot blanket, lap blanket and a large throw to fit a king size bed.

50% of all proceeds from this pattern will be donated to the Motor Neurone Disease Association. My lovely father in law was diagnosed earlier this year (2023) and the MND association have been an invaluable source of support to him and the family.

Approx finished sizes
Baby blanket - 92 cm x 92 cm (36” x 36”)
Cot blanket - 102 cm x 152 cm (40” x 60”)
Lap blanket (Lapghan) - 102 cm x 122 cm (40” x 48”)

The pattern uses the jacquard mosaic technique worked in rows and full written instructions are provided, alongside a chart for each of the different patterns, together with access to a Youtube tutorial. I am right handed so please be aware that these tutorials are also right handed however the written instructions include both right and left handed descriptions for the special stitches. Photo instructions for each of the stitches are also included in the pattern.

Full yarn requirements are given in the pattern including meterage should you choose to make your blanket in a yarn other than the suggested one.

Available in both US and UK crochet terms (a seperate PDF for each is provided) with a chart for those who prefer this type of instuction.

While every effort has been taken to test and edit the pattern, if you notice any errors in the pattern please let me know at makepeacemade@gmail.com and I will correct it asap. Thank you.
