Snuggles is the perfect sized blanket for babies or a small lap blanket to keep your knees warm while you snuggle up and relax.

The yarn creates the random striped effect, no planning just let it flow. Or you can bust your stash and combine a collection of colours for stripes that you create a unique look with.

The texture and flow of the stitches would also create an heirloom look with a solid colour. Elegantly traditional.

The borders are mock cables and surprisingly fun and simple. You never need to tell the recipient how easy this was to make.

Measurements: After gentle blocking, approx. 76cm/30” wide x 84cm/33” long.

Gauge: Before blocking, 15 stitches x 21 rows = 10cm/4” square in stocking stitch.

Yarn requirements: Sirdar Hayfield Spirit Chunky, 80% Acrylic, 20% Wool. 100gr, 155m/169yds.
Blanket #1. Zest, colour # 400, 4 balls (40 grams leftover).
Blanket #2. Harmony, colour # 401, 4 balls (45 grams leftover).

Needles and supplies:
6.5mm/US 10.5 circular needles, 50cm/24” in length. (or size needed to obtain gauge)
6 stitch markers.
Tapestry needle for weaving ends into back of work.
