This pattern will show you how to make a Snuggly Snowman Plushy, perfect for hugging or for adding to your winter decor.

The head and body are made all in one piece, with the nose and arms sewn on separately. I’ve also included instructions for making a matching hat and scarf as accessories for the snowman.

I made mine using bulky yarn and an H (5.0 mm) crochet hook for the body and used worsted weight yarn and an H hook for the accessories. I also used a bit of worsted weight yarn with an F (3.75 mm) crochet hook for the carrot nose and decorated it with a bit of embroidery thread (but the carrot decorations are completely optional).

Gauge isn’t crucial as long as your stitches are tight enough to keep the stuffing in. I tend to crochet tightly, so you’ll probably want to go down a hook size if you’re a looser crocheter. As written, the snowman is about 11” tall and about 9.5” wide (including the arms).

You’ll also need safety eyes, buttons to decorate, fiberfill stuffing, and a tapestry needle to weave in ends and sew the pieces together.
