Theses fluffy socks are made using West Yorkshire Spinners Signature 4 ply in Pennyroyal, the white of the snowmen uses Drops Nord and Drops Kid Silk in Off White held together to give a luxurious fluffiness.

Suitable for confident knitters happy to work with a colourwork chart which uses up to 3 colours at once in certain sections. Other than a short colourwork section, you will need to to be comfortable with knitting in the round, a heel flap and gusset heel construction and kitchener stitch.

The pattern is written for 3 sizes, small (UK 5-6), medium (UK 6-7) and large (UK 7-8), but is very easily customizable to fit your own foot. As you’re knitting from the cuff down, you can slip your work over your foot to check the fit of the leg, heel and foot as you go.

You will need the following quantities of yarn to knit 1 pair up to size UK 8:
West Yorkshire Spinners Signature 4ply in Pennyroyal, approx 25kgs
Drops Nord in Off White, approx 40g
Drops Kid Silk in Off White, approx. 12g
Drops Nord in Black, approx. 5g

The gauge I’ve worked to is 32 stitches to 41 rows using 2.5mm double pointed needles - you can use a circular needle and the magic loop method if you prefer.

I have tried to make this pattern as user friendly as possible, but will provide you with my email address when you download the pattern, if you have any issues at all, do get in touch and I will be happy to help.
