My son appreciates my knitting and is an exacting customer, who almost never will wear what I make (even after making it to his specific instructions which involve me inventing additions to the pattern). When he felt this yarn he snuggled it all up and demanded something from it. Knowing all the previous attempts and failures we did a custom color way for him (Matth’s yarn) and I designed this pattern just for him.

Something simple which let’s the color and yarn be the focus, and the pattern is snuggly, soft, holds on tight while he is running around crazy on the playground, and I finally have a successful project for him! He loves the hat even though it is made of wool and I made it :)

This hat come in two sizes.
The child’s medium fits my 4 year old perfectly.
The child’s large/adult small fit my 7 year old (he’s got a big head) and me equally well.
