The hat is worked with a very cozy chunky yarn, from the bottom up, all in 2 x 2 rib. The bottom has a folded edge of about 6 cm [2.25”].

SIZE:
ONE SIZE - for head circumference 56 - 58 cm [22 - 23’’].

GAUGE: 
7 sts. x 9 rows = 10 x 10 cm [4 x 4’’] in stockinette knitted in the round, after blocking, on 12 mm [US 17] needles.
For more precise result swatch in the round on the same needles you will use for the hat.

NEEDLES: 
12 mm [US 17] (or size to get pattern gauge) / 80 cm [32’’] or 100 cm [40’’] circulars for Magic Loop.

YARN:
200 g or 120 cm [131 yds] of super-bulky yarn.
Sample was knit out of 2 balls of Bulky Light Print Rosarios (100 % wool, 100 g / 60 m [65 yds]).

NOTIONS: 
1 stitch marker (for BOR), tapestry needle, scissors, ruler / tape measure.
