So I Had Some Yarn...
So I Had Some Yarn… is a true sampler shawl. I picked several knitted patterns that I liked but they can easily be changed to something else as long as it is a multiple of 2 stitches. You can switch the panels around, use all one colour…….it’s truly a “have fun” design.
The yarns I used were yarns that just weren’t enough for a nice sized shawl or I would never really knit with (too thin) or was left over from another project. The Jojoland was just something I held together with the Morris/Cascade yarns to use up the Jojoland and to give the undyed yarns a subtle touch of colour. I don’t know if you can really see it in the photos but it was fun to do.
The pattern is written only as there wasn’t any need for charts. Each panel is a fairly easy pattern to remember and can be knit up quickly. I was able to travel with this shawl whilst working on it as the panel designs were repetitive.
Enjoy
This pattern has not been test knitted so please feel free to contact me with any errors!
