ABOUT THE BLOUSE:

The blouse has an elegant and feminine fit and is meant to be worn rather constricted at the body line and waist, with a special focus on the frills along the shoulder. It has little positive ease of approx. 5 – 7 cm, so if you would like it to fit a bit looser please select a larger size.

Construction of the blouse: The blouse is knitted top down with two strand silk mohair held together, starting with the upper back, stitches will be picked up at both shoulders to work the left and right front, approx. 5 cm after finishing the button band the three pieces are connected and the body is worked in the round.

MATERIALS:

To knit the blouse you need a total amount of 175/225/250/250/250g* of Silk Mohair from Ladybug Yarn 420m/50g using two strands held together. The Blouse on the photo is knitted in one strand of the color Powder Pile together with one strand of the color Dolly. You can use the same amount of any other Silk Mohair with the same length, e.g. soft silk mohair from Knitting for Olive 225m/25g, Silkhair from Lana Grossa 210m/25g or Kidsilk from Drops 210m/25g.

Of course, you can choose any other yarn as long as you obtain the right gauge. As a mohair free alternative for example the Midnatsol from Camarose works too.
