This gift bag design uses granny squares to make a boxy shape as a perfect size for a bar of luxury soap and a washcloth. It was designed for the Advent CAL 2023 - the 10 gift bags of Christmas!

It is made of 2 round granny squares joined as you go. I used DK cotton yarn but it can be any weight of yarn provided you use the same yarn weight throughout and use a suitable hook – so 3mm for 4ply, 3.5mm for sport and 4mm for DK. It can also be made from scraps of leftover yarn.
