Soap Saver Lace Practice Bag
I hate to throw a half used bar of soap away so did these little bags to keep in the shower to put the half used bar of soap into so I can use it completely up. Kind of a washcloth with soap in the middle sort of thing. Thought I’d have fun playing with some basic lace patterns. I imagine you could also use the bags for potpourri, coins, candy or similar uses.
I enjoy doing a lace project once in a while. It keeps my interest and is visually fun. It is amazing what designs can be made using just yarnovers, knit 2 togethers and slip, slip, knits. If you’ve been nervous about trying lace, these are easy little projects to practice on.
For this project, I used Louet Euroflax 100% Wet Spun Linen, #2 Fine/Sport Weight, machine washable and dryable, Colors Lake Placid (blue) and Seafoam Green. It took about 10 grams per bag.
