Worked top down, this pattern places increases in a repeated pattern in the center that shapes the shawl into a semi circle but not in the usual way. The change in color on the lace border adds interest and draws your eye to the edge detail.

Summer Solstice is a light weight yarn than gives this shawl a lot of drape and gets softer with wear and also after wet blocking. Summer solstice is a wonderful summer yarn.
