Do you ever finish a pair of socks and find yourself with a small amount of leftover yarn? Do you like quick projects that are both beautiful and useful? Then this is the pattern for you!

What do you do with leftover sock yarn? Make Sock Hands, of course!

Sock Hands are knit in the round, from the cuff up, then knit flat to create a thumb hole before rejoining in the round to finish. They’re highly customizable, and you can make any part of them larger or smaller. They’re also quite stretchy!

I find the very simple style of thumb hole used here to be the easiest to wear when typing or knitting, and I wear one of my (many) pairs of Sock Hands almost every day between November and March.
