A super easy pattern for a detailed, fun and classic hat! Makes a great photography prop as well as a gift, or just for fun to wear around town! Be prepared to answer the question “Where did you get that adorable hat?” when you’re at the grocery store. Trust me, it happens every time I take my son out in it, lol.

Make this hat in sock monkey colors, or colors of your own choosing. Make in all brown or tan for a plain monkey, or add a flower or ribbon for girl monkeys. The color possibilities are endless! This pattern is available in all sizes, newborn through adult.

Must know basic stitches (slst, sc, hdc, ch), and be able to read a written pattern in standard American terms. Must also be able to braid (for ties).
