This is a PDF pattern for the SOCK MONKEY“ hat. The pattern includes instructions for creating this hat in the following sizes :0-3 months, 3-6 months, 6-12 months, 1-3 years, 4-10 years.

This pattern is for a skill level Beginner/Advanced Beginner. The pattern is written to use BERNAT SOFTEE CHUNKY TWIST in “Taupe”…Bulky Weight #5. I have trouble finding the yarn locally and must order it. Here is one vendor…but there are other vendors who sell this specific yarn.

I SHOULD ALSO NOTE: Although I recommend the above-noted yarn, you can also use Worsted Weight yarn and increase the hook size. I have found it difficult to find “sock monkey” or “ragg” yarn in a color I like, therefore, I use the bulkier weight yarn.

Also included in this pattern are instructions for both single and double flower.
