Sock Story Blanket
What’s your sock story? Cables, fair-isle, wild prints? Ribbed, mosaic, stockinette?
Showcase all those socks you’ve made- the good, the bad, and the ugly- with a blanket that recounts a colorful history. It’s a lovely way to record stitch patterns memorized, and use up some of those oddments while you’re at it.
This is a basic pattern recipe. Instructions are given for knitting squares using your choice of stitch pattern. Squares are knit individually, then joined with a simple crocheted border. The finished size may be altered by knitting more or less squares.
Total yardage is given for a 48” x 48” throw. Individual squares use approximately 30 yards of fingering weight yarn. Crocheted borders use approximately 875 yards.
Skill Level: It’s up to you!
